God

We believe in one eternal God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who works in unity and love.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. Through Him, salvation is offered to all.

The Bible

We believe the Bible—Old and New Testaments—is the inspired Word of God, the final authority for truth and life.

Salvation

We believe all have sinned and need redemption through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift received by faith.

What We Believe:

Pastor Vern Haynes Jr.

Pastor Vern Haynes Jr. is the founder and Senior Pastor
of Family Praise & Worship, bringing over 20 years of
dedicated ministry experience. A compassionate and
visionary leader that has faithfully served as Assistant
Pastor, Youth Minister, and Church Administrator for
different churches in California. He holds a B.A. in
Behavioral Science and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology
from National University.

Pastor Haynes is the author of It’s Just a Thought, a book
that encourages spiritual reflection and personal growth.
He is also the co-founder of Married for Life, a ministry
devoted to strengthening Christian marriages through
counseling, mentorship, and intentional faith-based
support.

His ministry is marked by a deep passion for discipleship
—encouraging others to develop a personal relationship
with Christ as their Lord and Savior, serving the
community with love, and sharing God’s grace in
everyday life. Pastor Haynes continues to lead with
unwavering faith and compassion, committed to helping
others grow in Christ and experience lasting spiritual
transformation.

Sandra H. Haynes

Sandra H. Haynes is a proud Denver
native and the Executive Pastor and
First Lady of Family Praise and Worship
Church. As a co-founder of Married for
Life, Sandra is passionate about
strengthening relationships through
biblical principles. With a background in
clinical counseling, she brings a
compassionate and insightful approach
to ministry. Her spiritual gifts include
leading Women's Ministries,
Intercessory Prayer, and Praise &
Worship, where she empowers and
encourages others to grow in their faith.
