Life Side Affects

Today, I would like to talk about the real side affect of the struggles in your Life:

  1. Financial
  2. Power
  3. Influence and success
  4. Sickness and despair

Many time these side affect happen to us when we are not Obedient to God.   We know we should do what God wants, but we don’t.  When we do, it is called obedience to God.   Sometime when life side affect attack us,  We feel hopeless, weak, afraid, unsure, lost, depressed, angry, distant and much more.  I could go on and on.   So what must you need to:

  1. You need to – Pray,
  2. You need to ask – God to come and stay in your heart.
  3. You need to ask – God to keep us on the road to rightness.

Luke 12:35-41   Watchfulness    (New King James Version)

35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; 36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

What is being said in the above scripture is that you must be ready at all times.  Don”t wait, be ready and Christ will bless you.

Perhaps There Hope For Someone Like Me

Have you ever committed a sin and regretted it?   Well, David in the bible was such a man and God forgive him. What God did for David he can and will do for you.
II Samuel 24:10 (NIV) David was conscience-stricken after he had counted the fighting men, and he said to the LORD, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Now, LORD, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing.”

How to Forgive Someone

  1. Remember what forgiveness involves:  YKou are not condoning the wrong or acting as if it never happened , you are simple letting it go.
  2. Recognize the benefits of forgiving- Proverbs 14:30
  3. Be empathetic- James 3:2
  4. Be reasonable- Colossians 3:13
  5. Act quickly- Ephesians 4:26-27

After reading the scripture, ask yourself how you are measuring up.  It’s Just a Thought.

Doubting Thomas

Are you  a doubting Thomas?    According to the book of John,   Thomas had a hard time believing that  Jesus had risen from the dead and that He was in the room with him behind locked doors with the other disciples.  Read John 20:26:31.  Then ask yourself,  are you a doubting Thomas.

Did You Know

The day of Jesus” resurrection is called Easter.  However, you won’t find the word Easter in the Bible.  The word Easter belongs to a pagan fertility goddess, whose springtime festivals were eventually displaced by Christian celebrations of Jesus” resurrection.   Maybe we should just call it Resurrection  Sunday.
